The two cards per sign pulled for the January 2019 Tarot Scopes article yielded 5 repeated cards. This was possible because 4 decks were used, one for each element/suit of the tarot. It is useful to look at cards that are repeated as they indicate a more collective reading, both for people and for society. Since we are recombining these cards, attention to a pattern is interesting, but not definitive, as you can create any pattern of five cards you wish. The illustration shows one pattern of the many possible. Let’s jump into the reading.
Consider ourselves the Page of Pentacles, very happy with our beginnings to handle money and the physical world. The light and wisdom of the Hermit are ready to assist us if we just look up. Less obvious is that Big Brother/The Law/The Emperor is aware of our actions and will step in if we depart from the legal path. Then we look at the low road. We have earned some money, or a reward for ourselves. Are we hanging on to it instead of following the ebb and flow of the universe and making sure we share our blessings? Could we also be at a mental stumbling block, stymied, by now having more resources? The answer to the Eight of Swords is always realizing that you are in charge. You can find the solution. And look! The Hermit is right there to assist you.
