Using The Heart of Faerie Oracle
By Brian & Wendy Froud
Here
we are a heading into February, we are seeing signs that the Fae have
been very busy! I took a walk around the yard and noticed the first
buds of spring are beginning to show! It is always so exciting to see
the nature come out if it's slumber.
Let's take a look and see
what the Faerie have to offer us for the month of February…
At
the beginning of the month, we find the first of the tricksters in
The Heart of Faerie Oracle. Hold
on this could be a bumpy ride. You may find yourself
practicing a delicate balancing act. You may be trying to do too many
things all at the same time. It might be a good time to sit down and
really look at all of the things that you are trying to accomplish
and decide on the priority of each of those things. This should help
you get the most important things completed first. It is also okay to
delegate AND/OR ask for help!
During
this same time frame – expect the unexpected. Keep your wits. Slow
down and watch what is happening around you.
Don't forget to
get up and get out of that chair or off the couch and get your body
moving!
The middle of the month you might find that you truly
can't be all things to all people all of the time. Nor should you!
It's time to be your authentic, true self. Do you even know what that
is? You may have to take some time to figure out who that genuine
self really is. The right people will always love you for who you
truly are not some illusion.
For those who garden or have
fruit trees – if the snow isn't too deep in your area, this is a
good time to prune trees, brambles, and shrubs. Separate
strawberries. Start seeds of slow growers such as pansies, onions,
leeks and celery – under lights this month. When you see your first
crocus you can plant radishes and cold-hardy lettuce, when you see
your daffodils, it's time to plant spinach and peas.
The
last part of the month is a great time for imaginative and creative
thoughts. Write, draw, sketch, color, paint or do whatever it is that
you enjoy doing. Let those creative juices flow! This is not
necessarily a period for big action or getting things done, but yet
it is more of a time to dream. We are not talking about just the
dreams while you are sleeping. Imagine what you wish for. What do you
want your life to look like next week, next month, next year, or 1o
years from now?
Remember
though dreaming can create our reality, so be careful what you wish
for! ;) ...And always ask for things to come in a “good and gentle
way.”
A nice stone to wear or carry this month is the Snowflake Obsidian.
The Snowflake Obsidian can help bring
balance during changes as it is a calming and healing stone. It can
help balance the body, mind, and spirit. It can be very beneficial to
let go of “negative thoughts” and stressful patterns.
Snowflake
Obsidian can help with issues with veins, circulation, muscular aches
and spasms. It can also help with issues involving the skeletal
structure and can be used to allieviate joint pain.

As
always, I hope you find that this message from the Fae helps guide
you through the ups and downs of this month!! Remember to say a
special little thank you to our Fae Friends for the guidance, insight
and entertainment!
