After two and a half years on the Board of Directors, (first as VP of Education and most recently as VP of Communications/Editor of the ATA publications), Valerie Sim has stepped down to pursue her shamanic work and personal writing. She has been instrumental in raising the quality of our newsletters and untiring in her efforts to upgrade their content, and the integrity of the American Tarot Association. We will miss her expertise, her devotion, and her enthusiasm, and wish her well as she pursues those things she needs to do. This is not good-bye, however, because she has promised that she will continue to do reviews and articles for us.
Please join us in welcoming our new VP of Communications, Christine Ziehm Gesicki. She’s already working on ways to increase our membership, offer new member benefits, and find new ways for us to serve the tarot community.
As for our publications, Rickey and Tracy Hite are stepping in as co-editors of both Tarot Reflections and the ATA Quarterly. Both have been regular contributors and welcome your input and feedback.
