Dear Friends,
The theme of fear has come up lately. People wondering about what's next in our world, others having panic attacks, still others hesitant to move on to the next stage of their lives. I thought that we could explore fear, using the William Blake Tarot of the Creative Imagination.
1) What is fear?
ACE OF MUSIC, REVERSED.
Fear is misfired passion. It is the refusal or denial of genius and inspiration, the repression of desire. Fear is also the root of depression and the source of chemical & emotional dependencies. |

2) Why is there so much fear in our world right now?
2 OF SCIENCE.
There is so much fear in the world because humanity seems to be in mental and communicative "limbo". We know that we need to make important decisions regarding peace and equilibrium, yet we are insecure about committing to a path in case that path tips things in the "wrong" direction and tosses life on earth into utter chaos. |
3) What is a potential remedy for this collective fear?
3 OF SCIENCE.
Jealously hold on to a greater vision for the human race. Clarify aloud what's on our minds - share our fears and sorrows with one another honestly and compassionately. Force ourselves to cooperate with one another until it becomes natural - "fake it 'til we make it". The hammer and the chain suggest that this is bloody hard work for us. Are we willing to take this on? |

Sincerely,
James
