Night ignores you.
The rider wears a white cloak billowing on the silver horse's mane. You
grab on tighter not sure what to make of this. Then as you are almost
about to collide, the other rider swerves the other way.
Night finally stops and the other rider turns to face you.
"Are you crazy?' you
shout out.
The rider says
nothing. You get an eerie sense of déjà vu.
"Who are you?"
The other rider
takes off the hood. Who do you see? Is it a woman, man or animal? Is
the person a stranger to you or a familiar face?
I am fear,
anger, aggression, death, grief. Everything you don't want to see. To
live you must get through me."
After hearing
these words what is your first impulse? Is it to run or stand to fight?
You look up to see you are now in the darkest part of the storm. The
wind whirls around you but you don't feel it. After a few moments you
say. "All right, come on them. Because I'm getting through you." You pat
Night on her neck.
You take a deep breath. You spur Night on to ride as fast as she can.
The rider gives a sharp cry and comes at you. You focus all your might
on holding on despite everything. In the moment of impact, you ride
right through the rider. Night stops then a burst of light comes through
illuminating the sky. All that remains of the rider and horse is nine
swords lying on the ground.
Is it a rush of relief or adrenaline that courses through you now? You
gather the nine swords and Night returns you back to the castle. You hug
Night around the neck. She gives you a warm neigh and rides off.
You reach the room and put the nine swords back to where they belong in
the headboard. The swords now vanish into the wood of the bed. You lie
down on the bed and close your eyes once more. Now, it is time to open
your eyes one last time to your reality. Ponder what this journey with
the nine of swords has shown you. As always, record your experiences in
your Tarot journal.
