Fae – July 2015

Using The Faerie Guidance Oracle - by Paulina Cassidy
Here we are in the month of July, with more than half of 2015 is already behind us.
What a fascinating draw for this month: Sanctuary, Communication, and Rejuvenation. Creating sacred space, communicate well with others, and recharge your own personal batteries.
Let's
see how the Fae expand on this for the month of July...
The
first part of the month it is best to focus on home. If your space
isn't what you'd like it to be, spend some time making little changes
to bring that about. It doesn't have to happen all at once, little
changes can make a big difference.
Home should be where you
can let go of any anxiety or stress that you are carrying. Try to
create a space of retreat in your home. This is can be a small space
just for you, a place to get away from all of the trials and
tribulations of the day and the outside world. Try to include
something for every one of your senses, incense, music, a special tea
or treat, a comfy chair or maybe large floor pillows. Include what
ever brings you joy.
If you already have such a space, maybe
you need to take some time and look at what you have included in that
space. It might be time to spruce it up a bit. Does everything in
that space make you smile, bring you comfort, and make you smile? If
something doesn't fit, find a new place to put it or possibly another
home altogether. Make your personal space your own sanctuary, a space
for healing, relaxing, and sacred. ...and then use your special
retreat. You deserve it.
Where the Fae have us focusing on ourselves and our space in the beginning of the month, the middle of the month carries a totally different energy. During this period it's important to focus on your relationships with others. Communication is going to be key.
The presence of the Communication Faerie reminds us to practice the fine art of listening. Listening is focusing on what is being said, not trying to quickly figure out how you are going to respond. Communication comes in many forms, don't just focus on the spoken word. Watch body language, gestures, tone, expression and of course, the eyes of the other person will also tell you a lot, but first and foremost listen to what is being said. One of the most vital elements in any relationship is effective communication. Clear, honest and open communication is vital.
Towards the end of the month it is time to take advantage of that sanctuary from the beginning of the month. It's time for rest and time to rekindle your spark. Without taking this time to recharge yourself, you could easily slip into a burnout phase. If you burn yourself out, you won't be helpful for anyone else, so put yourself first during this time.
Doing things that you enjoy will not only lift your spirit but refresh you as well. You will find yourself more energetic and tolerant of situations that are outside of your control.
Some things that might rejuvenate you include keeping yourself hydrated with 6 to 8 glasses of water daily. A drop of lavender essential oil on the sole of each foot can be very relaxing. Spend some time in nature, with the “electronics” turned off. Let Mother Nature's natural rhythm help you ground, center and bring yourself back into your natural balance. Treat yourself to a good book, a massage, a candle lit bubble bath, a good meal, whatever lights your inner flame. It will do you well!
A nice stone to wear or carry this month is a
Blue Lace Agate.
This agate is the stone of hope, unity,
cleansing, harmony, protection, optimism, positive thinking, joy,
truth, purification, promptness, calming, appreciation of nature,
smooth energy flow.
In addition to the generic healing properties of Agate and Chalcedony, the Blue Lace Agate variety is a very cooling and calming stone, endowing us with a sense of peace and tranquility. A powerful throathealer, it assists with verbal expression of thoughts and feelings.
Blue Lace Agate is a great nurturing and supportive stone, neutralizing anger, infection, inflammation and fever. Blue Lace Agate helps to strengthen and accelerate the repair of bones, thyroid deficiencies, and throat and lymph infections. It soothes red, sore eyes and any skin problems associated with redness and irritation.
*Stone healing properties are not intended to replace the advice of your doctor.
