July TarotScopes
By Lalia Wilson
The methodology used is a combination of tarot, astrology and intuition to do these readings. If you know your Moon sign and your rising sign, read them in addition to your Sun sign. Enjoy July’s summer pleasures, and avoid the trends towards fanaticism.
Aries:
The Sun and the Knight of Cups:
The Sun card is favorable in Tarot and the Sun in Aries is at its best placement. Thus you enjoy good vibrations this July, Aries. The Knight of Cups suggests a love interest. There are a couple of drawbacks: Mars has just begun direct motion, and there’s generally a lot of conflict (for everyone) in the cosmos this July. With Mars just turning direct at the end of June, you, especially you Aries, want to do it all the first couple of days. Whoa! Up the action a day at a time, please. The planets are in place to fix things, to handle the budget restraints you’ve had to deal with, and to start moving forward. You’ll be happier than you’ve been for the last couple of months, for sure!

Taurus:
Transition (Death) and the Ace of Wands:
It looks like big changes and new and positive directions in life. You’ve had some ongoing issues with a partner or spouse. You waited, something Taurus is good at doing. But even your patience is finite. July is the time to get things moving along. Your connection to Spirit is strong and reliable. Take what actions you know you need to. There are new positive directions ahead of you, with or without that partner.

Gemini:
The Star and the Ten of Pentacles:
Things are looking good for your career and public relations. Anything tech is good for you now. The sky is the limit in your work. Now, if you’re an artist this is a time of great inspiration and the potential of lots of works and good sales. Whether or not you’re an artist, this is a good month for any children. They may strike it rich. Speaking of rich, while being prudent, you are more favored for strong market returns on any stock market transactions. However, use money that you would otherwise fritter away, not your mortgage money.

Cancer:
Justice and the Queen of Wands:
Let’s start the month by being careful and avoiding preventable accidents. You’re feeling empowered (good) and may be overly enthusiastic in fitness or other endeavors, so watch your step. This is the month to speak up for yourself. You have a long-term heavy situation with a partner, this isn’t going to change anytime soon. However you may have a child who is getting married this year. Enjoy this time of change in your home and family and allow all to grow into a new configuration of an extended family.

Leo:
Justice and the Queen of Cups:
You have the Queen of Cups again for a third month in a row, Leo. It is an indication of love, affection, insight and emotional fullness. There are indications of focus on your home all month. Home improvements? Home repairs? It’s a good month for any kind of art that is a slow process such as ceramics or sculpture. Creating slowly, not your usual thing, will be successful for you. Also of concern is your eldest child. Something serious concerns you. Look into the matter and take appropriate action.

Virgo:
The Wheel of Fortune and the Two of Swords:
Money looks great for you Virgo. Especially in July, but for several months to come. Remember to be prudent and save some of it, okay? You have more than one stream of income, and may need to make choices about which one to devote your time to. You may be buying new computer equipment, tablets or smartphones. Perhaps you are even hiring a computer person, but technology is highlighted for you this month. If you have more than one choice to hire, or more than one salesperson, the young woman will work out better for you, it’s in the stars!

Libra:
The Tower and the Ace of Wands:
Your partner issues will be moved forward or disposed of shortly, as Mars turns direct just hours before the 1st of July. Someone has been putting you through the wringer, but that’s about to end. Are you going to let that person go down in flames by him/herself? They have deserved it, but you are probably too nice to let that happen. Either way, if you find yourself there, don’t build a future with this person. A new start brings much better prospects. If you have been waiting on a loan, it will be approved and all will work out.

Scorpio:
Judgment and the Two of Wands:
You have money choices to make this month, Scorpio. While you still need to watch your budget carefully, there are two paths of income that look likely to increase soon. Which will you focus on? Both may work out fine. While money is starting to become a “handled” issue for you, there is someone, a sibling, cousin or neighbor, who has some serious problems. You are rightfully concerned. Sometimes all you can do is let that person know you care, and spend what time you can with them.

Sagittarius:
The Moon and the Five of Cups:
That promotion or professional advancement is favored in July. Things are moving in good directions for you professionally. So, of course, you are focused on old romantic ties that never were as wonderful as you remember them, and home decorating. It’s summer and you have some cottage, beach or underwater themes that inspire your newly decorated home—lots of blues, aquas and pastels. (Don’t spend all your money, as winter may create a desire for a warmer look.) Money keeps looking better and better for you, Sagittarius.

Capricorn:
The Devil and the King of Cups:
This month you have the Devil card, Capricorn. Normally that means you are too attuned to material matters, especially lust, but this card is also the usual significator for the sign Capricorn, which makes it less troublesome. Last month you had the Knight of Cups, this month the King of Cups—he’s your idealized romantic partner. It looks like you’ve met your match. No wonder you have sex on the mind. It’s a good month and a good year for you. Could you be celebrating a marriage by year’s end? July is certainly good for a vacation. Take Mr. King of Cups along…

Aquarius:
The Moon and the Four of Cups:
The Moon suggests some delving into your emotions and acknowledging some negative feelings, territory no Aquarius wants to enter. Then add in the four of Cups and you are waxing nostalgic. Maybe you’ve been entranced by the Moon, as nostalgia and feelings are so not your thing. This is also some passive energy, which is unusual for you as well. A court action has happened in your favor, or at least not “against” you. Now you have to live with the consequences. Pay attention to any health issues, and relax in the passivity of this July.

Pisces:
The Fool and the Knight of Cups:
It sure looks like vacation time, Pisces. It could be a vacation romance as well. You are psyched for new endeavors and new adventures. You are fine with being a tourist. Foreign shores and foreign people are featured. You are game to learn about the world and to savor all the delights available. So, if you are abroad, remember to obey their laws and practice safe sex. You want to come home having enjoyed your trip.

Notes on the process and July: I used four different decks and all were randomized before drawing cards… The draw included two Justice cards, two Moon cards, two Knights of Cups and two Aces of Wands. Among the 12 suit cards drawn there were 6 Cups. So, generally, without regard to the individual signs above, we can say some things about July as a whole. There will be a lot of crazy types about, “lunatics,” and the resultant legal consequences. Both the lunatics and the police will be in action this month. At the same time, there are romantic openings, summer romances, and new creative inspirations. Which reality will you choose? May you find your way through the exciting times of July 2016.
