Frolicking Fae - August 2015

Boy, could we use some
rain. The rainy side of Washington State is looking much like the dry
side of the state these days. Everything is brown and dry, dry, dry.
My poor garden. We have not had much luck this year. The only things that produced were blueberries, raspberries, and jalapeno peppers. Hope those of
you who are growers are having more gardening success than I am this
year!
Let's take a look and see what messages the Fae have for
us for the month of August.
The
overall look is changes and lessons to be learned from the elders,
but we will break that down a little further.
The beginning of
the month is a time to look at things through a fresh pair of eyes.
August is not July and July is finished, so let's look forward and
not get hung up on days already past.
Focus on the new you
that you have become. Yes, it's okay to fondly look back on who you
once were, but the month of August is really a fantastic time to
honor who you are now. Let go of worry. Be of service, do kind things
for others, partake in a “pay it forward,” and allow yourself to
be cared for. When you allow this to happen, the old you and your old
habits will fall away and you will move forward and find that some
beautiful and magical things begin to happen in your life.
This
is also a time to look at the little details and the fine print.
Don't cut corners. Any task that comes your way deserves your fullest
attention and your best work.
Be
active in your own life during the middle of the month. This is not a
period to become passive. Changes are coming and they may not be the
most easy changes but they are coming none-the-less. One door closes,
so that another may open. This may not be the easiest of times, but
as they say, “That which does not kill you, only makes you
stronger.”
You are smart and you are strong. Step up into
your power. Don't feel like you have to face everything on your own
though. You can call on a friend, the Fae, or the angels, or whom
ever you would like to walk beside you.
As
you go through an entire month of shifts and changes, towards the end
of the month we move from being a follower to a leader. Changing from
being someone who sits back and waits for others to blaze the trail
and idly following to someone who initiates and steps to the front of
the pack. Tap into lessons learned in your past to move into your
future.
Take the necessary steps to help heal our earth. Show
others the way by setting an example. Work within the cycles and
seasons to accomplish more.
Even though you are taking more of
a leadership role, it is also good to find and call upon mentor(s).
Find someone who is doing what you see yourself doing in the future.
Choose your mentor(s) carefully. Keep in mind the wise soul of a good
teacher may be in the body of someone younger.
A
nice stone to carry or wear this month is the Botswana Agate.
This
stone is known to be beneficial for smokers who are wanting to quit.
The Botswana Agate helps one look for solutions and letting go of
worry. This is a great stone for bringing out your creativity, helps
see the bigger picture and helps ease depression.
*Healing
properties are not intended to replace the advice of your doctor.
As
always, I hope you find that this message from the Fae helps guide
you through the ups and downs of this month!! Remember to say a
special little thank you to our Fae Friends for the guidance, insight
and entertainment!
See you again next month and keep the faith!
