September has two activations of the August 21^st eclipse. Mars conjuncts the eclipse degree over the Labor Day weekend and then Mercury turns direct early Tuesday the morning after Labor Day. Thus the high energy and chaos that you might have experienced in August will not settle until after the Labor Day weekend. Let us all hope that the jolt you got from the eclipse will push you towards the next chapter of your life.

What does September have in store for you?

I used a different deck of cards for each of the four elements. All cards were randomized. There were no repeated cards unless you equate Mars from the Marizano deck with The Tower, in which case that card is repeated. If we look at it as a repeat, then the universal lesson is to be aware of shake-ups in our lives. Since the reverberations of the Great American Eclipse of August 21^st will continue in September, this is not unlikely that you will have more rapid changes this month. 

This month’s numerology of the cards has zero Fives. Five is the energy of change and strife. Maybe we will all be burnt out after August. At any rate, the month looks peaceful overall with an even distribution of the numbers, lacking only the fives. Suit-wise, we have zero Pentacles and only two Swords. It looks like we are running on enthusiasm and our feelings this month. We also have three Queens. Women in our lives, our own female sides, and female world leaders are highlighted in September. German Chancellor Angela Merkel is on target to win re-election September 24^th.

Aries: 

The Tower and the Four of Swords: 

Just like last month, health is a focus: Health and healthy habits, as well as your job, get a lot of attention this month. If you are not already focusing on health, it is time to do so. The Tower is usually seen as speeding everything up. Here we pair it with the Four of Swords, the card of rest and recuperation. Things are going well with your partner. Some good things are happening in your neighborhood. Friendships are a bit bleak, as you or they are feeling a strong desire to go it alone. Given how quickly your life is moving, taking a break is probably a good thing. Better to take a break, than to be forced—for health reasons—to do so. Your partner is feeling generous, let him/her pick up the tab.

Taurus: 

Apollo and the Queen of Doves:

Apollo is the embodiment of the sun and light, thus signifying success and victory in all matters. The Queen of Doves is a sensuous woman who is practiced at living a sexual and emotional life. What do they symbol astrologically for Taurus this month? This is your month to shine! Enjoy performing, entertaining, creating art, and being with happy people. Emotionally you are also in a much better place, finally touching and healing your own depths. An alluring older woman can assist you at all levels. Progress in your self-confidence is highlighted.  Enjoy this great month.

Gemini: 

The Hermit and the Three of Wands:

Despite the Hermit, this may turn out to be a very social month for you, Gemini. There is a lot of activity at home and with your family. You are moving around your town and neighborhood a whole lot, interacting with many people. There is also good friend energy. Thus, The Hermit may be what you want more of as you go from one social event to another. In what limited spare time you can find, use your creative energy. This will bring inner peace and accomplishment. Your partner is still a bit of a recluse, but that energy changes in December.

Cancer: 

Magician and the Four of Cups:

Are you feeling philosophical, dear Cancer? Your wistful thoughts are philosophical and your practical nature is glued to the neighborhood. Do you have neighbors or family who need your care? Are you driving people to the doctor this month? Things look busy, though the focus is away from you and on caring for others. Put a little attention on minding your money this month. Find joy at home.

Leo: 

The World and the Seven of Vessels (Cups): 

The World suggests a time of accomplishment; while the Seven of Cups says you have choices to make. Have you just launched a child? Your youngest child has just left for college or a life adventure? Now you have some more time, and some financial readjustments to make. When it comes to choices, dear Leo, most of the action seems to be around your income. Are you a freelancer? Do you have several jobs? Or a “main” job and several other financial endeavors? Choices there may make the future easier, or harder? What choices can you make that will serve you best in the future?

Virgo: 

Marte/Mars and the Four of Turtledoves:

In this tarot, Turtledoves indicate chastity, and the four is stability. This card is the commitment to a relationship, likely marriage. Mars is the masculine principle at its most physical. For you, Virgo, we have a month of physical energy and all that is needed to accomplish a lot for yourself and your projects. You also have the enthusiasm and inner discipline to make things happen. These two symbols together also indicate strong and healthy sexuality. As you stay in touch with your inner enthusiasm, and physical self, this month is one for outstanding success! Go for it. P.S. Money looks good, too.

Libra: 

Justice and the King of Wands:

Libra gets her own major arcana card this month, Justice, your lifetime goal. As always, Justice cautions us to remember karma and to put out into the world the kind of energy we would like to receive. Your partner is riding the wave of success. Any legal matters will be resolved to your satisfaction this month. Something that has been on its way, long expected, is still coming but perhaps not this month, or after the 22^nd when the Sun moves into LIbra.

Scorpio: 

Death and the Knight of Wands:

You may be attracting attention that you do not want, Scorpio. Death is the Scorpio trump card, and you are usually out of sight. What is ending for you? It is likely something you have wanted out of your life anyway. Younger male friends, athletic or military friends, are livening up your life this month. Though your budget is still tight, career success is starting to show. Perhaps this is the public eye that you’d rather avoid? Take advantage of the energy in your chart to accomplish your goals this month. As long as you distinguish the personal from the professional your concerns about publicity will not be realized.

Sagittarius: 

The Devil and the Queen of Staffs (Wands):

Dear Sagittarius, that Devil card is pointing to your personal income. What changes do you need to make? It looks like you have plenty of money coming in and just need to have a plan to use it wisely—a budget. The Queen of Wands could be yourself, or your ideal mate. At any rate, she is alluring, encouraging, inspiring, and seductive. Foreign shores are calling, Sag. You are always alert to new adventures far away. Yes, this month is great for a foreign adventure, or for exploring new realms of thought or new (to you) religions. Handle the money so that you can have fun, as this month looks really good!

Capricorn: 

Ceres and the Queen of Eagles: 

In ancient times Ceres was primarily thought of as the Goddess representing the productivity of the land and the harvest. Today we include all kinds of productivity: having good schedules and procedures, tending to necessary tasks in a timely manner, and so forth. The Queen of Eagles is much like her more modern counterpart, the Queen of Swords. She’s her own counsel, wise, and virtuous. September highlights your partner’s virtues and accomplishments. Allow her or him to be in the spotlight. To the extent that you do, you will succeed yourself. Your professional life looks good. Money is still tight. Health news is good.

Aquarius: 

Stultitia (The Fool) and the Lady (Page or Princess) of Cups:

Local travel, local events are highlighted this month for you, dear Aquarius. You have been stuck close to your own locale for most of seven years, due to one thing and another. But the wheels of change will come in 2018 and 2019. Keep up with your new healthy habits, whether it is diet or exercise or both, this new regimen will be good for your health. Public matters are quiet this month, look for something in November if you want more PR. Money matters are stable. Let the joy of the Fool be with you and liven up your life. Small steps are what matters.

Pisces: 

Star and the Eight of Cups:

Some dreams will never come true. Let go of something you hoped for, and look to what is possible dear Pisces! Over recent years you have become much more spiritually focused and consequently, reserved and private. Avoid long-distance travel this month, you won't get what you thought you would from it. Any creative projects you have that are practical and help others will be highlighted this month. Is this a prototype for a commercial idea? So much the better! More than anyone, Pisces, you want to serve others. It is okay to make a living while others benefit.
