The Enchanted Oracle
We have made it to my most favorite
season, autumn. I love this season and everything about it. The
colors, the scents, the decorations, just everything. It's time to
put my garden to rest and bundle up in warm sweaters and
blankets. We actually had to turn the furnace on for the first time in months, while I am writing this.
Let's take a look and see what the Fae have to offer
for the month of October.
The first part of the month is a time to pamper your body, mind, and soul. Tend to your spirit. Eat good food. Make yourself a cup of tea and then watch some videos of your favorite comedian on YouTube. Take a car ride along pretty roads near your home, with the music blasting. Stop somewhere scenic and just chill for a bit. Find a cozy corner in a local coffee shop, order a cup your favorite hot drink and read a good book. Go out to lunch with a good friend.
Maybe look
into using essential oils or if you already use them try one that you
have not used already. Bergamot might be nice to try.
The Mystic
Mermaid also is here to remind that once we take the time to pamper
ourselves then we can help someone feel good as well.
The middle of
the month you might find that things are not always as they appear.
Someone may be a wolf in sheep's clothing. If something looks too
good to be true it probably isn't. If there is doubt, ask questions.
Investigate. Resist temptation that is coming your way.
Drink more
water, take a walk, maybe anoint a tiger's eye with sandalwood oil
and carry it in your pocket.
The end of the month you might find
yourself a little down or maybe you are putting too much focus too
much on the problems and things that are not working. Well, that can
quickly become a habit. Break that habit. Instead, talk about and focus on the
joys in your life.
Make a list of the things that bring you joy. Make
a second list about what your hopes and plans for the next month.
Roll both of these into scrolls and tie with a pretty ribbon. Put
them someplace where you will see them on a regular basis. Every time
you look at them tell yourself "I am grateful and I am hopeful."
Since
we already talked briefly above about Tiger's Eye that will be our
stone for the month.
The Tiger's Eye is the stone of balance,
stealth, vitality, and strength of will. It is a stone of protection
and may also bring the wearer good luck. It can help with focus and
mental clarity. Tiger's Eye helps with letting go of fear and
anxiety. It can stabilize mood swings and help release tension.
Physically,
it treats eyes, throat, reproductive organs, alleviates pain, helps
with repairing broken bones and issues of the spine. This crystal
also helps the wearer release toxins. *Healing
properties are not intended to replace the advice of your doctor.
As
always, I hope you find this message from the Fae helps guide you
through the ups and downs this month. Remember to say a special
little thank you to our Fae Friends for the guidance, insight, and
entertainment.
