A Message for November from the Frolicking Fae

by Terri C.
At the beginning of the month, you may feel that the entire Faerie Nation has ganged up and is playing tricks on you. You may feel that nothing is going your way and what could go wrong, will. Resist the natural instinct to find a cave, curl up and hibernate. Have a little faith that this too, shall pass. It’s only a moment in time. A whisper in the wind that will be carried off like a pine-needle on the breeze. You may find it helpful to leave some sweet treats out for your little fae friends. A thimble of sweet tea and a little sweet bread should do the trick. Another lovely treat for the fae is dried fruit. Of course, they LOVE chocolate, but you have to be very careful where you leave that, especially outside.

As first 10-12 days of this month, come to pass you will find yourself running a more masculine energy. You can imagine yourself protected by a suit of armor. The tricks from the beginning of the month, no longer have an impact on you, either physically or emotionally. You will notice that you have a stronger ability to cut through what is and what isn’t. Be careful here about how you word things. You want to be received well. Sometimes, words can in fact, hurt more than a physical blow. So please choose your words wisely.

Towards the middle of the month, you can look forward to new doors opening up to you. Where before everything felt locked tight, you will notice less resistance. Look back at what you were trying to accomplish at the end of October and the beginning of November. Now is a better time to try.

Cold and damp weather is settling in, in my part of the county. This time of year, it is important to remember that as tears help cleanse our emotional soul, the rains help cleanse our earth. Try to spend at least some time outside, if even running between raindrops. This is a great time to visit with the wee folk. Look for those giant toadstools. You never know what or should I say, who, might be hiding out underneath. The colors blue and purple should be your focus during meditation.

November is a wonderful time of year to develop your vision. Keep your eyes soft when looking for the fae. As you begin looking for the fae, you will often see them in your peripheral vision. They will present themselves like a flash of an LED light or etheric orbs. As you train yourself to see, it will become easier. Eventually, you will be able to see them straight away. This is also an excellent time to build a faerie house...they will love you for it! Remember, you can also call on the fae to help you. They love to help, when asked...and even sometimes when they are not.

Toward the end of the month, it becomes an excellent time for transforming yourself. Change your diet, exercise, begin a new hobby or look at new career paths. It’s not a time for major life changing events, but time to start looking at what you need or want to change. Then start the plan to make the changes you want.

November is also a time to nourish your soul. What is your passion? What or who do you love? What steps can you make now to move you fully into living in your passion and feeding the soul? Take a little step each day. Even if it’s a wee, fae step. Keep moving forward. When you feel out of sorts or off target, ask yourself. Does what I am doing in this moment, take me closer to living my passion (Or achieving your goal)? If the answer is “no,” then take a moment, regroup, make the adjustment necessary to put you on the path to your target.

Be sure to send out a special thank you to the Fae for leading, guiding and bringing some fun into your life, this month.
