The branches are bare and the leaves are now soggy under our feet. The garden has been fully winterized. The nights are long and the days are short. The year is quickly coming to a close. It’s a good time to reflect backwards for a moment. Examine where you could have done better, look at your accomplishments, and also see the good times you have had.
Let’s see what the Fae have to say for the month of December…
The beginning of the month the Faeries want you to focus on your future and set your intentions and remember our intentions create our reality. It is a good time to take a look at your New Year’s Resolutions that you made back in January and do some self evaluation, are you on course. What would you like to change next year? What will be your new goals?
Once, you have your intentions set and goals in mind for the future, it is time to take action and begin moving in the proper direction to achieve your goals. Remember everything that you think, do or say forms your reality. Remember what you feed grows, so be careful what you are feeding.
During the middle of the month you may notice a difference in how you feel energetically. Pay attention to this change and honor your body. Take care of you and nourish your body, mind and spirit. This is an excellent time to use Singing Bowls, drum, play a Native American flute, practice Yoga, meditate and use aromatherapy. Think of and do positive things that can stimulate all of your senses, this will help keep your personal energy flowing cleanly. This will help align your chakras and strengthen your aura.
This is also a good time to examine your diet and maybe add supplements if you are not getting what you should from what you are eating. Also, make sure that you are drinking enough water. Many of us are dehydrated and do not even know it.
Also remember, that you do not have to go way over board spending for the holiday. Small, simple home-made gifts will be treasured. These items are also a great way to share your good energy with someone else. Need some great ideas??? Check out pinterest.com and search the DIY (Do It Yourself) category.
Towards the end of the month the Faeries know that it is a busy time, but they want you to remember to stay grounded. Take some time and actually do some grounding techniques. Sit down and visualize rooting yourself to Mother Earth, if need be. The more grounded and peaceful you can be internally will help you deal with all of the craziness that the holidays seem to bring.
If you are feeling that “overload” take a moment and settle yourself down. No one said you have run at 90 miles per hour all day every day. Slow down, chill out and relax. Also, try to steer clear of processed foods and check your vitamin C intake. If you have any tests coming up, remember that your mind is clearer if your body is a little hungry, so try not to over eat beforehand. A full night of sleep will also help you be clearer, grounded and calm.
A nice stone to carry this month is a Carnelian.
This stone is good for healing the body and the aura. It promotes personal power and stimulates creativity. It can calm one’s temper and gives courage. The Carnelian is one of the major grounding stones and can help one focus, sharpening concentration and dispelling mental lethargy. Legend has it that Carnelian was used by wizards to strengthen magic powers. This stone also brings the wearer an increased appreciation of nature and can help in past life recall.
Carnelian can aid lower back issues, arthritis, neuralgia and depression. It can help regulate the kidneys and accelerates healing ligament and bone injuries. It can also improve vitamin and mineral absorption and ensures healthy blood supply to organs and tissue.
I hope you are able to find joy in the upcoming holiday season and that you have a truly blessed new year!
