Here
we are, the days are short and dark. The weather is much cooler. The
gardens and lawns have been winterized. It feels like it's time to
hunker down and wait for Winter Solstice. I can't wait for days to
get longer once again!
Let's see what the Fair Folk have to offer us for the month of December…
The first part of the month you may find that something in your life
hasn't been living up to your expectation. Think of the fruit tree,
sometimes when we want things to improve and to become more abundant,
the answer is to prune it back. We do this in the late winter.
In
the spring we expect to see tremendous growth with a lot more fruit
than the previous year. It might be time to do some pruning in your
life. Cut things back, give yourself some downtime. Don't force
things that are not working. Evaluate where you are spending your
time, effort, energy, and money, scale back where you can. Then sit
back and watch things improve.
The
middle of the month is about sticktoitiveness! This is a time to
persevere, stay on task and get things done. You might have to light
a fire under your own behind and find your own motivation. There are
so many tasks to complete, but you will "Get 'er done!" If
you are building or creating something for someone for the holiday
you might find that there is a little tweak that needs to be made in
order to make it the best it can be. It will be an easy change once
you see what can be improved.
The last part of the month may be
filled with parties and get-togethers. Remember to schedule in time
for you to do things that fill you with joy. Try not to over-indulge.
Treat yourself well, eat good foods, and by all means get some rest!
A nice stone to wear or carry this month is the Ruby.
The Ruby helps
us find passion and zest for life. This stone can help with
motivation and goal setting. It encourages joy, laughter, and
courage. It can help remove negative energy from your path. It can
help boost energy but also helps calms hyperactivity.
The Ruby can
help detoxify the blood. It can help with fevers and infections.
