At the beginning of this month, many of us celebrated Imbolc, the cross-quarter day between Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox and a New Moon. For those of us here in the U.S., we watched as Phil, the groundhog prognosticator, told us that spring is expected early this year. The weather here in the Pacific Northwest has been much milder than just about anywhere else. Expecting buckets of rain, mushy ground, and dressing in layers has become the norm. …And Valentine’s Day, is fast approaching.
Let’s take a look at what the Fae have to tell us this month…
During the first part of February, it is important to pay attention to your intuition, your dreams, visions that come to you during meditation, and especially those strange thoughts and words that come to you when you are doing your readings. If you are a professional reader, when those messages come, give them, even if neither you nor your sitter understand them at the time. Sometimes, it’s most random or what some might consider “out-there” things that become the most important part of the message you are giving. Let go of technology as much as you can during this particular time. Instead give your energy to the natural world. Focus on plants, nature, animals. Listen to the whisper in the wind.
At the same time, you may find yourself easily able to see below the surface of situations. Remember where your ethics lie. Even though your intuition is heightened, only read or look deeper into situations where you have been granted permission.
The Fae also want to remind you that during the first part of the month, it is important to put your needs and desires first. Do not expect anything to come from others. Take care of you and make yourself happy, first and foremost.
Toward the middle of the month, you might expect some sort of “blast from the past.” This could be an old lover or even an old friend that you’ve lost contact or connection with. Remember, put yourself first before you dive in head over heels. Even if the connection doesn’t take you back to where you were before, this could be the opportunity for the two of you to mend any broken fences. By mending the past this will allow each of you to move forward easily.
This would also be a good time to get out and do just one small thing for our wonderful planet. Carpool, walk, or ride a bike to work. Turn the lights off when you don’t need them, turn the water off while brushing your teeth. If each one of us took one little step this month, together we could make a huge impact on the amount of energy we use.
Moving toward the end of the month, the Fae also would like to encourage you to try other forms of divination. Try reading with crystals or “junk,” using a pendulum, scrying or psychometry. Don’t feel that this is something that you have to do outside of your Tarot cards. Even if you just dabble with something new, that’s what is important here. By trying something different and new to you, you will be expanding your skills and learning how to hear that message a little bit clearer. Plus, you never know, you might just find something that you really enjoy.
Since much of this reading revolves around dealing with others, it is the Fae’s recommendation that you wear or carry a Rose Quartz this month.
This stone is excellent for self-love and for healing. It can be used for emotional well-being. Wear or keep it close to the body for emotional support. It radiates peace and warmth. This is a beneficial stone for everyone.
If your home feels tense, place rose quartz chips in the four corners of your house. If you have trouble with neighbors, you can put chips in the four corners of your property .
As always, I hope you find that this message from the Fae helps guide you through the ups and downs of this month!! Remember to say a special little thank you to our Fae Friends for the guidance, insight and entertainment!
See you again, next month and keep the faith!
