There are a few fiction books with a tarot theme, but Linda Howard and Linda Jone’s Frost Line (published by Avon Books and generally available) is a present time fantasy with the twenty-two Major Arcana as co-rulers of multiple realities. Earth is "seven." The story focuses on Strength, who is an attractive female named Lenna Frost. She's pulled into the earth to assist a child in desperate need as he had witnessed the murder of his mother and the killer is looking for him. The device the child, Elijah, had unwittingly used was a deck of tarot cards, the Alexandria Tarot Deck, a magical deck that had survived the burning of the library in Alexandria Egypt two thousand years ago. Lenna is called to his rescue. She begins working to aid the child in the face of opposition from the killer and, his hired hands (to hide the crime), and two other trumps (can you guess which?) who have an interest in possessing the Alexandria Deck. If you like fantasy and the tarot, this may be the book for you.
Another tarot book that I use daily is Janet and Ron Boyer’s Affirmations with the Tarot. I have this book on my Kindle and each day I draw a card and look at the twenty affirmations for that card. I choose one to be a guide for the day. Although I have many tarot books, this book is the only one I use regularly. Drawing a daily tarot card is a practice recommended to everyone, especially anyone wanting to learn the tarot. You get to see how each card works out in your life. Affirmations with the Tarot compliments the daily card, as it allows you to focus on a positive outcome for your day.
I recommend both books.
