WOW! What a month November has been already and it has barely gotten started! This truly is a time to be thankful. I am very proud of the United States right now as I feel like we've finally gotten something "right" after a very long period of getting things wrong. This is a time to be hopeful for the future, no matter how tough it looks, and to be thankful for all that we have. Let's also use this time to share what we have with others!
Thanks to everyone, readers and contributors alike, for making the October and Halloween issues of Tarot Reflections hits last month, and for helping us celebrate my and Melanie's one year anniversary at the helm of this fine publication! We appreciate it! Now, it's time to make someone else's day and announce the winner of the Halloween Contest, who will receive the very special Bohemian Gothic Silver Limited Edition! The image was of one of the bats from the Four of Bats card that is part of Kipling West's Halloween Tarot published by U.S. Games Systems Inc.!
Congratulations, Jean from the Pacific Northwest!
Speaking of U.S. Games Systems, Inc., Lynn from U.S. Games contacted me with a surprising bit of information... have a look at the Hierophant card from the Vanessa Tarot and see if it reminds you of anyone in the news lately! Tina Fey? No! Sarah Palin!
Lynn adds, "The fascinating thing is that the artist, Filipino Lynyrd Narciso, certainly had no familiarity with Palin three years ago when he designed this deck. We are all just getting a kick out of this coincidence and thought your readers would too. Have fun with it."
Thanks, Lynn!!!
Enjoy the issue, everyone!
