10. The Wheel of Fortune
Rachel attends a stimulating esoteric event with a few college friends. Her interest is intrigued by the mystical significance of the Tarot cards. She is fascinated by the intriguing meanings of TheWheel of Fortune Tarot card.
The angel in the top left corner is Aquarius, the eagle is Scorpio, the lion is Leo and the bull is Taurus. These are the four fixed signs of the Zodiac, yet, all have wings signifying stability, amidst much movement. The book they each clutch is the Torah, representing the Old Testament and therefore rich in wisdom. Rachel can depict the letters, corresponding to this: Torah, read anti-clockwise or, even can also be interpreted as Tarot.
Rachel is forthwith reaching a turning point in her life. She is starting her final year of study of transpersonal psychotherapy, at the college where she first embarked on her journey of psychotherapy. She is carefully deciding on which route of further study to pursue which will lead to her career as a therapist. The four signs of the zodiac both represent life cycles and in turn, karma. Rachel is still learning the lifelong lesson of taking stock, and so ‘being comfortable', at her own pace, in her unique journey. The Wheel of Fortune is associated with the throat chakra; self-expression and feeling comfortable with taking up space.
Numerically, the number ten is a higher octave of the number one; empowering the qualities of one.
Planetary-wise, The Wheel of Fortune corresponds to Jupiter, depicting the Planet of expansion and King of the Gods. He is the benevolent ruler, prompting us to act when we see an opportunity. He brings good fortune, yet, also tends to cause us to go to extremes and overindulge.
